After a virtual Witches and Wizards of Woodstock last year, the all-ages event will physically return to the historic Woodstock Square this month.
The festival will feature the magical talking hat, the Loyola University Quidditch squad, a fantasy-themed trivia contest, scavenger hunts, live music, games, crafts, shopping, food and all manner of entertainment, according to a news release.
The event, organized by the Woodstock Public Library, city of Woodstock and the Woodstock Area Chamber of Commerce and Industry, runs from noon to 4 p.m. Oct. 24.
Planned for a week before Halloween, attendees are welcome to wear a costume.
