Petals by Peyton voted Best Florist in Best of the Illinois Valley

Petals by Peyton, a plant shop and full-service florist, was voted Best Florist in the 2024 Best of the Illinois Valley Contest.

The shop is brimming with a huge selection of house plants and blooming plants, and owner Peyton Lamps and her staff create beautiful floral arrangements and bouquets for all occasions, including Valentine’s Day. They can also deliver! The shop also hosts four to five workshops each month, bringing a hands-on experience for flower and plant lovers.

Lamps, who is a native of La Salle and graduate of La Salle- Peru High Schools, said she is so grateful for the community, which has been supporting her since she started selling plants in high school. She said she loves getting to know her customers and giving each of them a personalized, one-on-one experience.

“I wouldn’t be here if I didn’t have everybody supporting me along the way. It’s such an honor to win Best Florist and I’m happy everyone was able to take the time to vote. The customer relationships my employees and I have built have been amazing,” Lamps said.
