Dalzell’s St. Thomas More Church to hold chicken dinner Aug. 20

Meal will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Fried chicken is one of the favorite dishes served during Blessings Buffet, a free community dinner held at Country Girl Food Services, 108 E. Railroad St. in Sandwich, every third Sunday of the month at 4:30 p.m.

St. Thomas More Church will hold a chicken dinner from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 20 in the church hall, located at 302 Chestnut St. in Dalzell. (Katrina Milton)

St. Thomas More Church will hold a chicken dinner from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 20 in the church hall, located at 302 Chestnut St. in Dalzell.

Price will be $12 for adults and $6 for kids age 10 and younger.

The menu will include baked or fried chicken, spaghetti, salad, bread and butter, dessert and drink.
