Lia Bosnich had a double-double with 17 points and 15 rebounds Thursday to lead the St. Bede girls basketball team to a 44-27 victory over Bureau Valley in a Three Rivers Conference East Division game at the Storm Cellar.

Renn Ludford added nine points for St. Bede, which used a 14-5 fourth quarter advantage to pull away to victory.

Lynzie Cady led the Storm with six points and Kate Salisbury and Nicki Kerber added four each.

Kewanee 44, Hall 42: Promise Giacometti scored 16 points Thursday as the Red Devils came up short in a Three Rivers Conference East Division game in Kewanee.

McKenna Christiansen added nine points for Hall.

Henry-Senachwine/Lowpoint-Washburn 27, Dwight 25 (OT): The Mallards remained undefeated in the Tri-County Conference with an overtime victory Thursday in Dwight.

BOYS BASKETBALL

Serena 89, DePue 49: Andres Moreno scored 20 points and grabbed 11 rebounds as the Little Giants lost a Little Ten Conference game Thursday in Serena.

Oscar Lopez contributed 12 points for DePue.

WRESTLING

At Princeton: Dixon defeat the host Tigers 51-24 Thursday at Prouty Gym. The Tigers scored all their decisions by falls by Izaiah Smallwood, Ace Christiansen, Augie Christiansen and Matthew Harris.

At Sandwich: St. Bede dropped a pair of duals Thursday, losing 48-18 to Sandwich and 75-3 to Kaneland.

Ryan Migliorini secured the only on the mat victory for the Bruins, beating Kaneland’s Diego Serriteo 12-7 at 195 pounds.

COED BOWLING

At Mt. Morris: St. Bede swept Oregon Thursday at Town & Country Lanes with the boys winning 3,294-3,195 and the girls earning a 2,932-2,868 victory.

In the boys match, Trenton Acuncius led the Bruins with a 682 series, while Anton Cain added a 568 series.

Veronica Martin paced the St. Bede girls with a 652 series, while Aubree Acuncius rolled a 588 series.
