PHS hosts Bureau Valley for a night of hoops and pork chops

There will be some hot hoops on the floor and some hot pork chops and pork burgers on the grill when the Princeton Tigers host rival Bureau Valley Tuesday night.

The sophomores tip off at 5:30 p.m. at Prouty Gym with the varsity to follow at 7 p.m.

The Tigers are 13-8 overall and 5-2 in third place in the TRAC East behind Kewanee (7-1) and Newman (6-2), including a 61-58 win at Bureau Valley last month in a game they led for a total of 12 seconds.

The Storm stand 11-13 and 2-6.

While the games are going on, the PHS FFA will host a cookout offering pork chops, pork burgers and a dessert sale to benefit its program.
