Girls basketball: McKenzie Hecht, McKenna Christiansen head up TRAC East All-Conference

Princeton senior Mckenzie Hecht and Hall sophomore McKenna Christiansen headed the 2021-22 TRAC East All-Conference Girls Basketball Team as unanimous selections.

League champ Princeton also placed junior Olivia Gartin on the first team. Rounding out the first team are St. Bede senior Lia Bosnich and sophomores Reanna Brant of Mendota and Jess Johns of Newman.

Named to the second team are senior Leah Smudzinski and sophomore Ella Hermes of St. Bede, junior Promise Giacometti of Hall, sophomore Kate Salisbury of Bureau Valley and juniors Marissa Stevens and Emma Crofton of Kewanee.

Princeton senior Morgan Coleman and junior Maria Hobson picked up Honorable Mention honors along with St. Bede senior Ryann Stoudt, Mendota senior Paige Manning, Kewanee senior Lainey Kelly and Newman sophomore Adalyn Waldschmidt.
