Girls volleyball: Ottawa wins 3-set thriller on La Salle-Peru’s senior night

A loud crowd, a fierce rivalry and a spectacular, back-and-forth match made for a playoff atmosphere Tuesday evening in Sellett Gym as Ottawa avenged a loss earlier in the season and knocked off La Salle-Peru in three sets.

Girls volleyball: Newman holds off Princeton in Volley for the Cure match

The Newman Comets and Princeton Tigresses went back and forth in a two-set Volley for the Cure match on Thursday evening at Newman. Both sets were tight throughout, but the Comets ultimately prevailed 26-24, 27-25.
