Tiskilwa High School Class of 1970 makes donation to historical society

Before the Sept. 5 program in Tiskilwa, attended by more than 100 fiddle enthusiasts, Tiskilwa Historical Society president Ed Waca accepted a donation of $1,970 from the Tiskilwa High School Class of 1970, represented by Charlie Fredenhagen and Margaret Ioder Wendle.

Following a tradition begun several years ago, this THS class showed its support of their hometown museums by a donation to match their graduation year. Because of the pandemic, class members had to wait an extra year to make the presentation, remembering their classmates Janet Burrell Wise and Anna Fisher Meyer.
