The Home for the Holidays Christmas Lighted Drive Thru hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony as the gates opened the gates to the public for the first time Dec. 4.
The Home for the Holidays Christmas Lighted Drive Thru runs each night from 5 to 9 p.m. and continues every Friday, Saturday and Sunday until Jan. 1.
Donations are appreciated from event goers to ensure the growth of this endeavor in hopes that it become a yearly tradition in Princeton. This event is made possible by the partnership between the Princeton Area Chamber of Commerce and the Bureau County Fairgrounds.

Entrance to the event is on the west end of the Bureau County Fairgrounds, visitors enter on South Fairground Avenue.
The committee members are Kathy Bauer, Kyle Burrows, Dave Mead, Francis Morse (all representing the Bureau County Fair), Shellee Monier (Princeton Area Chamber of Commerce board member) and Jenica Cole, executive director of the Princeton Area Chamber of Commerce and Princeton Tourism.
The Home for the Holidays Craft and Vendor Sale and Holiday Flea Market are scheduled 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 11. More than 40 vendors have signed up to bring all sorts of wonderful items for Christmas gifts, including: floral arrangements, jewelry, barnwood crafts, doll clothes, flashlights, tumblers, among other items.
