Ava Carpenter, sr., OH, Sycamore
All-area first team
Mia Wise, sr., S/OPP, Genoa-Kingston
Wise did whatever the Cogs needed her to do with 323 assists and 227 kills on the season. She also had 62 aces and 126 digs.
Izzy Turner, sr., S, Indian Creek
A two-time unanimous all-conference selection in the Little Ten, Turner had 418 kills and 168 assists. She also had 253 digs, 25 blocks and 71 aces - 11th most in Class 1A. She was the team captain and MVP.
Kayli Loonam, sr., RS, Kaneland
Loonam was a force at the net with 155 kills and a 0.196 hitting average. She earned a spot on the all-conference team in the Interstate 8.
Morgan Beam, sr., MH, Kaneland
Beam had 100 kills and an impressive 0.22 hitting percentage. She had 54 blocks and a 2.25 serve-receive rating. She was a two-time All-Interstate 8 Conference selection and is planning on playing at Coe College.
Courtlyn Brockway, sr., OH, Hinckley-Big Rock
Brockway set the school’s single-season kills record with 256 to go with 261 digs, 64 aces and an 87.7 serve percentage. She was the team’s MVP the past three seasons.
Audrey Peters, sr., OH, Kaneland
Peters served at an 87.6% clip with 37 aces in addition to her 199 kills and 167 aces. She is planning on playing at Cornell College in Iowa.
Nelly Delvalle, sr., L, Hiawatha
Delvalle finished fifth in the Little Ten with 285 digs and was the top serve-receive option for the Hawks. She would also switch jerseys and play in the front row when needed.
