Genoa-Kingston 59, Pearl City 56: At Forreston, Hayden Hodgson hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer to lead the Cogs to win in the first round of the tournament.

Hodgson finished with 15 points and Marcus Johnson had 14.

Woodstock 61, Indian Creek 54 (OT): At Woodstock, Logan Schrader hit a 3-pointer with 1.4 seconds left to force overtime but the Timberwolves fell in the extra period.

Schrader had seven, Faustino Mora had nine, Cooper Rissman had 11 and Everett Willis led the Timberwolves (9-2) with 15.

Girls basketball

Kaneland 55, Winnebago 34: At Winnebago, Sam Kerry scored 16, Kendra Brown added 14 and Grace Brunscheen had 10 for the Knights.

Pecatonioca 65, Hinckley-Big Rock 37: At Pecatonica, Anna Herrmann scored 14 and Mia Cotton nine for the Royals.
