KINGSTON – A new place to host events has opened in Kingston.

Cougars Lounge, for those 21 and older, opened this fall at 201 W. Railroad St. in Kingston, owner Jamie Frye confirmed.

The business offers video gambling, outdoor space for events and a speakeasy-style lounge with live music, according to the Genoa Area Chamber of Commerce.

The outdoor backyard area can be rented out for adult birthday parties, showers, small weddings, class reunions and other affairs. Although food is not served on-site, patrons are welcome to bring their own or order food delivered to the lounge from local restaurants.

The business also recently joined the Genoa Area Chamber of Commerce, Frye said.

Cougars Lounge is open from 4 to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday.
