YMCA donation to fund youth financial aid scholarships

NAPA AutoCare Centers donates $2,015 to Kishwaukee Family YMCA

DeKALB – The Kishwaukee Family YMCA recently received a $2,015 donation from the NAPA AutoCare Centers of DeKalb County to fund youth financial assistance scholarships.

The check was presented to Kishwaukee Family YMCA Sept. 19, according to a news release.

The NAPA AutoCare group donates a portion of oil change proceeds to charities every month. Participating shops include Barb City Automotive, Bockman’s AutoCare Center and Bockman’s Truck and Fleet, 3-D Auto Repair, NAPA AutoCare of DeKalb County, Archer Alignment and Motor Works.

The NAPA AutoCare Centers of DeKalb County is a group of vehicle service centers that provide customers repair and maintenance services.

The Kishwaukee Family YMCA is a nonprofit that seeks to enrich the spirit, mind and body of all those in the community, especially families and children, regardless of ability to pay.
