NIU 51, Idaho State 50 (OT): NIU (5-5) shot 1 for 7 in the fourth quarter, 35.1% for the game and turned the ball over 25 times in the overtime victory.
Graduate forward Brooke Stonebraker led NIU in scoring for the third straight game, posting 14 points with a game-high 13 rebounds for her second double-double of the season. She also had a game-high three blocks. Sycamore graduate Lexi Carlsen added 12 points, tying a season-high with four three-pointers.
“I knew I needed to use my size to my advantage going into the game,” Stonebraker said. “I was the biggest one out there so getting those rebounds and blocks for my team was important.”
