Sycamore 76, Aurora Central Catholic 41: At Elgin, Isaiah Feuerbach and Unique Shaw each scored 17 in the first-round win.

Josiah Mitchell added 11 points.

Kaneland 84, Gardner-South Wilmington 41: At Plano, Marshawn Cocroft scored 14 and Freddy Hassan added 12 in the tournament opener for the Knights.
