Girls basketball

Sycamore 52, St. Francis 38: At Wheaton, Quinn Carrier had 26 points, 12 rebounds and three assists in the victory.

Sadie Lang added 10 points, two assists and two steals, while Kennah Butler poured in nine points. Callie Countryman had seven rebounds.

Genoa-Kingston 57, Woodstock North 23: At Genoa, the Cogs won their third straight behind 17 points from Regan Creadon.

Presley Meyer had 12 points, while Ari Rich and Ally Poegel each scored nine.

Harvard 53, Hiawatha 11: At Kirkland, the Hawks dropped the nonconference game.

Boys basketball

Sycamore 64, Woodstock 49: At Sycamore, Isaiah Feuerbach scored 24 in the victory.

Unique Shaw added 11, and Jake Shipley had 10 for the Spartans.

DeKalb 59, Neuqua Valley 41: At DeKalb, the Barbs picked up the DuPage Valley Conference win.

Sean Reynolds scored a career-high 36 for the Barbs.

Earlville 57, Hiawatha 39: At Earlville, Aidan Cooper had his 13th double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds in the loss.

Men’s basketball

Kent State 68, NIU 50: At DeKalb, James Dent Jr. scored 23 in the loss as the Huskies shot 30.5% from the floor.

The Huskies fell to 4-10 with the loss and 0-2 in MAC play. It was the first MAC win for the Golden Flashes, who improved to 10-4 overall and 1-1 in conference.
