Sycamore school names spelling bee winners

SYCAMORE – St. Mary’s Catholic School recently announced the first- and second-place winners of its 2025 spelling bee.

The spelling bee was held Jan. 16 at the school, 222 Waterman St., Sycamore.

The winner is eighth grader Eileen Lehan. Lehan will represent the school at the regional spelling bee. Second place was awarded to fifth grader Mila Yates.
