Kaneland 75, Rochelle 40: At Maple Park, Freddy Hassan crossed the 1,000-point mark in the win with his 12-point performance.

Marshawn Cocroft had 16 points and Jeffrey Hassan added 12 for the Knights.

Genoa-Kingston 62, North Boone 44: At Poplar Grove, Marcus Johnson had 19 to lead the Cogs, who never trailed.

Hayden Hodgson added 14 and Nathan Kelba 10.

Schaumburg Christian 48, Hiawatha 35: At Schaumburg, Nelly Delvalley scored 14 and Brielle Molloy added 11 in the loss.

Men’s basketball

Bowling Green 84, NIU 77: At Bowling Green, the Huskies (5-17, 1-9) never led in the contest against the Falcons (8-14, 3-7).

Quentin Jones scored 19, Quaran McPherson scored 18, James Dent Jr. scored 14 and Ethan Butler 10.
