DeKalb Police Chief to host meet and greets May 25, June 2

DeKALB - DeKalb community members can meet their new Chief of Police, David Byrd, at a series of open houses on May 25 and June 2.

Open houses will be held from noon to 1:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on both respective dates, according to a news release from the city. The event will be held in the Community Room at the DeKalb Police Department, 700 W. Lincoln Highway.

Social distancing will be followed, and visitors who are not fully vaccinated against COVID-19 will be required to wear face masks while in the building.
