North Rehab, YMCA partner for community programs in March

SYCAMORE – The Kishwaukee Family YMCA and Northern Rehab Physical Therapy Specialists will host two community presentations this month at the Y.

The first event, “Injury Prevention & Performance Enhancement for Runners,” presented by physical therapist Aaron Nevdal, will be at 7 p.m. Monday, March 14. Attendees will learn tips on how to boost their performance and avoid running injuries.

The second event is part of the monthly Lunch and Learn Education Series. It will focus on learning the importance of pelvic floor strength, core stability and posture. The program will run from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 16.

Both events are free and open to the public, but space is limited to 20 attendees and registration is required. Registration will end Friday, March 11. All COVID-19 protocols will be followed and attendees are required to wear masks.
