Manteno choir to perform national anthem at Bears game Sunday

The Manteno High School Chamber Choir won a national anthem contest hosted by the Chicago Bears to perform at the Bears’ home game against the Detroit Lions at noon on Sunday.

After submitting a video audition, the group was invited up to Halas Hall to do a live audition on Nov. 19. On Dec. 2, they received word they won the contest.

The game will be live on TV on FOX 32. Streaming options include Fox Sports for free, NFL+ with subscription (Chicago area only), Game Pass International (outside the U.S., Canada and China) and YouTube or YouTube TV subscription to NFL Sunday Ticket.

The pregame show, Bears Gameday Live, will start at 9:30 a.m. and can also be seen on television in the Chicago area on FOX 32. The Star Spangled Banner is usually sung several minutes before kickoff.

On the radio, tune into the ESPN 1000 pregame show on AM 1000 or 100.3 FM or on WVLI 92.7 FM, which begins at 10 a.m.

Game coverage is also on ESPN 1000, WVLI 92.7 FM, SiriusXM channels 228 and 805, 93.5 FM in Spanish and ESPN Radio.
