KANKAKEE — A 35-year-old Kankakee man has been arrested for allegedly being in possession of child pornography.
Illinois State Police Division of Criminal Investigation Zone 1 arrested Joseph L. Lookingbill, 35, of Kankakee, on Tuesday for the allegedly possession of this material.
The arrest was made at Lookingbill’s residence in the 2100 block of South Schuyler Avenue after an investigation by ISP agents, according to an ISP news release..
ISP preliminarily charged Lookingbill with three counts of possession of pornography (Class 3 Felony), the news release said.
A search warrant executed on electronics owned by Lookingbill revealed child exploitation material, according to the news release.
The ISP said in the news release it provides resources for parents and for the public to report crimes against children, as well as survivors to start their path toward healing and recovery.
