Grant Park’s annual Cabin Fever Reliever set for Saturday

GRANT PARK — Chill out this weekend in Grant Park as the village will be holding a fun event.

The village of Grant Park’s Festival Committee will be holding the 10th annual Cabin Fever Reliever Saturday at the Grant Park Community Center, 209 W. Dixie Highway.

The fundraiser will have a list of entertainment scheduled for the day, starting at 4 p.m. when the beer bar opens.

Bingo will start at 4:30 p.m. and runs until 7:30 p.m.

Dinner and drinks will be available for purchase. Food will be provided by Grant Park food vendors and restaurants.

There will be live music featuring the KGB band from 8 to 10:30 p.m. The KGB Band is a six-member ‘60s, ‘70s and ‘80s classic rock band.

Entry to view the band only is $5.

Grand Prize drawing tickets for a Breeo Smokeless Fire Pit, which is valued at $500, will be sold in advance or at the event.

Basket raffle tickets will be sold at the event. Those who wear plaid can get a free ticket.

Proceeds from the event support community initiatives such as Grant Park’s annual Fall Festival and contribute to the upkeep and enhancement of the village’s local parks.

Tickets are $20 at the door.
