Photos: Peru ice rink to open this weekend

Adam Thorson, parks and recreation director for Peru, fills the ice skating rink with water at Washington Park next to the splash pad on Tuesday Jan. 4, 2022. Thorson hopes to have the rink open for skating and hockey by the end of the week. Traveling hockey teams from the suburbs have already booked a few dates for the rink.
