Photos: Utica Fire gets new rescue truck

Utica firefighters push in a new Pierce heavy duty rescue truck Thursday, Sept. 14, 2023, into the bay at the Utica Fire Station. It's a tradition for the Utica Fire Department to push in a new fire truck into the bay. The $706,000 truck will replace a 28-year-old rescue truck. The new vehicle will have equipment to handle water rescue, industrial accidents and grain bin emergencies. The department hopes to have it in operation on Columbus Day weekend. (Scott Anderson)
