Students look through recyclable materials Wednesday, June 5, 2024, during the Camp Invention at Central Intermediate School in Ottawa. For more than 30 years, the National Inventors Hall of Fame has inspired millions of children through its flagship summer program. The weeklong program is led by educators in the Ottawa area along with local high schoolers volunteering. The camp is for students from kindergarten through sixth grades. Donations were made possible from Covia, US Silica, SABIC, Financial Plus, Pilkington and community members. With the help of donations, 74 students participated in this year's camp. (Scott Anderson)
