Photos: Semi crash on Route 251 closes a lane of highway temporarily

Crews work the scene of a semi truck crash on Friday, June 14, 2024 near the intersection of 38th Street and Illinois 251 in Peru. A Goodwill semi truck overturned and extrication was needed. The crash happened shortly before 11:30a.m. Illinois Route 251 was down to one lane. Peru police believe injuries were not serious.
