At Plano: Kane Dauber (122) and Casey Etheridge (165) head a list of six place-finishers for Princeton at the Plano Invite.
Also for Princeton, Ace Christiansen (144) was second, Kaydin Gibson (126) and Ian Morris (215) were fourth and Brayden Bickett (106) placed sixth.
The Tigers placed third out of 20 teams.
Girls basketball
Princeton 45, Kewanee 32: Camryn Driscoll sank 9-of-10 free throws on the way to a 19-point game to lead the Tigresses to Three Rivers East Saturday matinee victory.
Also for PHS (6-2), freshman Payton Brandt had eight points and Keighley Davis added six points.
Boys basketball
Amboy 62, LaMoille 29: Amboy’s Quinn Leffelman scored 27 points and hit eight 3-pointers, tying Chris Payne’s single-game school record for 3s in the win. Eddie Jones also scored 24 points for the Clippers.
Girls bowling
At Peru: The La Salle-Peru girls shined in their own Cavalier Classic at the Super Bowl on Saturday, taking first-place honors with a score of 5,353. Runner-up Rockford East scored 4,596 with St. Bede seventh (3,906) and Hall eighth (3,835).
St. Bede’s Maddy Fabish edged Rochelle’s Cassidy Vincent by one pin for top honors with 1,191 series.
Payton Miller rolled an 891 to lead Hall.
Boys bowling
At Peru: St. Bede’s Haiden Ator was the top area finisher, placing third at 1,355 in the Cavalier Classic at the Super Bowl.
Dawson Huffman led Hall with a 1,171 series, placing 20th.
