The following students were selected by Seneca High School teachers and staff as the October students of the month.

Student of the Month

Clara Bruno

Clara Bruno is the daughter of Tamara and Matthew Bruno from Marseilles. She intends to attend the University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota, where she will major in music education with the goal of becoming a band and choir teacher. She is actively involved in Jazz Band, Marching Band, Concert Band, choir, Spanish Club, the Superintendent Advisory Council and the musical pit.

Role Model of the Month

Memphis Echeverria

Memphis Echeverria is the son of Kimberly McKinney and Erika and Vincent Echeverria from Seneca. He intends to enlist in the U.S. Army. He is involved in the National Honor Society, football, concert/marching/pep band, CIA, Young Philanthropy and the math team. He is grateful to his parents, teachers and coaches for their support over the past four years.

Irish Pride of the Month

Bianey Hernandez

Bianey Hernandez is the daughter of Lenis Huizar from Seneca. After high school, she plans to enlist in the U.S. Marine Corps. She will serve as an aviation ordnance technician, responsible for the stowage, testing, repairs, arming, disarming and accountability of armament equipment and armament-handling equipment. In addition to her military career, she plans to pursue a college degree in finance. Hernandez is a member of the Seneca High School cheerleading team.

Rookie of the Month

Alise Jackson

Alise Jackson is the daughter of Alaina and Christopher Jackson from Seneca. She aspires to enroll in a four-year college to pursue a career as a high school English teacher. She is involved in various extracurricular activities, including volleyball, basketball, FCA, CIA, TRUST, Drama Club, choir, math team, track, theater productions, the musical, serving as a freshman class officer, FFA and Superintendent Advisory Council.
