St. Charles Public Library hosting local art exhibit

During the month of August, the St. Charles Public Library is hosting an art exhibit by 10 members of the St. Charles Arts Council.

The art on display is located on the main level of the library. The artists whose works are displayed are: Becky Blaine, Claudia Frost, Deanna Gibson, Kathi Kuchler, Erin Livermore, Jennifer Ross, Richard Sbarbaro, Mary Ellen Seagraves, John Stockman and Molly Walsh-Lorenzini.

The St. Charles Arts Council is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to promote the arts, creativity and culture in our community. Since 1979, the works of local artists have been on display at the St. Charles Public Library through its Artist of the Month program.

The exhibit can be seen anytime in August the library is open: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays; 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Fridays; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays and noon to 5 p.m. Sundays.
