First Team
Cael Andrews, Batavia, junior: Andrews (40-10) finished eighth in the Class 3A 145-pound bracket at the IHSA boys individual state finals.
Austin Barrett, St. Charles East, junior: Barrett (27-14) placed eighth in the heavyweight bracket at the IHSA boys individual state finals.
Collin Carrigan, Marmion, sophomore: Carrigan (27-5) placed fifth in the Class 3A 152-pound bracket at the IHSA boys individual state finals.
Ben Davino, St. Charles East, sophomore: Davino has only one loss in his two-year varsity career and finished as the Class 3A 120-pound champion at the IHSA boys individual state finals.
Jameson Garcia, Marmion, junior: Garcia (32-4) won the Class 3A 113-pound title at the IHSA boys individual state finals.
Ino Garcia, Batavia, sophomore: Garcia (42-6) placed fourth at the IHSA boys individual state finals in the Class 3A 106-pound bracket.
Tyler Guerra, St. Charles East, junior: Guerra (32-6) placed third in the Class 3A 132-pound bracket at the IHSA boys individual state finals.
Kaden Fetterolf, Batavia, junior: Fetterolf (41-6) placed second at the IHSA boys individual state finals in the Class 3A 138-pound bracket.
Nathan Kim, Burlington Central, senior: Kim (43-12) finished eighth in the Class 2A 170-pound bracket at the IHSA boys individual state finals.
Jack Lesher, Marmion, sophomore: Lesher (40-6) placed fourth in the Class 3A 182-pound bracket at the IHSA boys individual state finals.
Cameron Phillips, Kaneland, senior: Phillips (40-7) placed fourth in the Class 2A 109-pound bracket at the IHSA boys individual state finals.
Tyler Perry, Marmion, senior: Perry (39-4) placed second in the Class 3A 170-pound bracket at the IHSA boys individual state finals.
Sydney Perry, Batavia, sophomore: Perry (21-0) became the first-ever IHSA girls individual state champion in history, winning the Class 3A 145-pound bracket.
Dyani Torres, Kaneland, freshman: Torres (21-15) placed eighth at the first-ever IHSA girls individual state tournament in the 125-pound bracket.
