The Batavia Chamber of Commerce kicked off the first-year anniversary for Batavia Chamber member Grainology Brewstillery with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Nov. 27 at 131 Flinn St., Suite C in Batavia.
Batavia Mayor Jeffery Schielke presided over the celebration, along with Michael Read and Jason Kelly.
Among the large number of well-wishers were Batavia Chamber President and CEO Margaret Perreault; Patti Anselme, special events coordinator and Shirley Mott, communications and membership coordinator.
Also present were Chamber ambassadors, fellow business owners, employees, family and friends.
Besides brewing and distilling onsite, Grainology Brewstillery serves up a variety of craft beers and has a diverse craft cocktail menu, according to a news release from the chamber.
Live music and food trucks are featured prominently on weekend nights, as well as other events throughout the week, including the Saturday morning Batavia Indoor Market.
With plenty of room available, the space can house private events, too.
Hours of operation are from noon to 8 p.m. Sundays; 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays; 3 to 11 p.m. Thursdays; 2 to 11 p.m. Fridays and 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturdays.
