Batavia Park District honored with Certificate of Achievement in Financial Reporting

The Batavia Park District has received the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Government Finance Officers Association for its comprehensive financial report for Fiscal Year 2023.

The Certificate of Achievement is the highest recognition in governmental accounting and financial reporting, marking a significant achievement for the park district and its management.

The park district report demonstrated a constructive “spirit of full disclosure” to clearly communicate its financial story and motivate potential patrons and residents to read the report, according to the association in a news release from the park district.
