St. Charles man helps move ammunition aboard USS Princeton

Gunner’s Mate Second Class Emilio Arroyo, from St. Charles, and Gunner’s Mate Seaman Daniel Martin, from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, moved ammunition for the MK 45 5-inch gun aboard the USS Princeton (CG 59) on Jan. 6 while sailing South China Sea.

The Carl Vinson Carrier Strike Group is currently underway, conducting routine operations in the U.S. Seventh Fleet area of operations.
