Geneva Public Works crews are still responding to a water main break on Seventh Street that occurred Tuesday afternoon, officials announced in a news release.
Seventh Street was shut down about 1:45 p.m. from Franklin to Fulton streets in order for crews to repair the break.
Motorists should avoid the area but can use Sixth Street as an alternate route.
As of 4:30 p.m., Public Works crews remain on the scene and estimate the repair will take another up to two hours to finish, according to the release.
City officials will post an update online when the project has been completed.
