CASA Kane County appointed two professionals, Carol Goewey and Denise Kruckenberg, to its Board of Directors.
Their expertise and commitment to community service will significantly contribute to CASA Kane County’s mission of advocating for children who have experienced abuse and neglect.
Goewey brings over 20 years of sales leadership experience in the healthcare and biotechnology sectors, having held executive roles at Werfen, Abbott RDx and Beckman Coulter. With expertise in integrated delivery networks, business negotiations, team development and sales strategy, she will be a key asset in supporting CASA Kane County’s outreach and fundraising initiatives.
Kruckenberg brings over 25 years of experience in academic administration and healthcare education. As the Dean of Health Professions at Elgin Community College, she has focused on student success and workforce development. Her expertise in higher education, strategic planning and program evaluation will help expand partnerships and enhance support for the children and families served by CASA Kane County.

CASA Kane County is a volunteer-driven nonprofit focused on advocating for children who have suffered abuse or neglect and are placed in foster care.
The organization recruits, trains and supervises volunteers who serve as the child’s voice in court, ensuring their best interests are represented.
