Geneva Lutheran Church celebrates 10 years with pastor

Geneva Lutheran Church celebrated 10 years of ministry partnership with Pastor Trudy Stoffel at weekend worship services on Feb. 12 and 13.

Church Council members expressed their gratitude to Stoffel with a presentaion of flowers and a gift, while church members in attendance were given the opportunity to write thank you notes on paper hearts.

Stoffel was installed at Geneva Lutheran in February 2012. In her 10 years as pastor, the congregation has grown and increased its impact in the community.

Worship services are held Saturdays at 5 p.m. and Sundays at 9 and 10:30 a.m. with Sunday school and adult education hour at 10:15 a.m. The 9 a.m. service is livestreamed on the Geneva Lutheran Church YouTube channel. For more information visit www.GenevaLutheran.org.
