Batavia OKs raises for police sergeants, street maintenance workers

The Batavia City Council Monday approved new three-year contracts with unions representing police sergeants and maintenance workers in its streets division.

Under the new contracts, which are retroactive to Jan. 1, the workers will receive pay raises of 3.25% this year, 3% in 2023 and 2.75% in 2024.
