Route 47 between Beith Road and Route 38 is closed for a fatal crash investigation Tuesday morning, according to a news release from the Kane County Sheriff’s Office.

The road will be closed for an “unknown length of time” for the investigation. The crash involved a semitruck and a small pickup truck, according to the release.

More information will be released soon, the sheriff’s office said.
