Holly Deitchman has been the director of communications and community outreach for Batavia School District 101 for five-and-a-half years.
Along with being a huge sports fan, her family loves to do “day dates” like go to a vintage arcade or play golf and then eat the best burgers and shakes.
Formerly employed by Batavia Access Television (BATV) and the Batavia Chamber of Commerce, Deitchman says that “every day is completely different. I draw from every job I ever had for my day to day role now.”
Being at the chamber was one of the best pieces of experience to draw from because she says it gave her connections in the community to “lean on.”
The district works very well with the city, the chamber and the area non-profits. “It’s like this big web of connections that help create efficiency financially as well as time and process,” said Deitchman.
