A DeKalb woman was killed Friday after she was thrown from her vehicle in a traffic crash, according to a news release from St. Charles Police Department.

All lanes of Route 38 are again open to traffic, following a Friday morning closure in St. Charles.

Motorists traveling through St. Charles on Feb. 21 should avoid Route 38 between Peck and Brundige Roads, as law enforcement has blocked off the route to investigate a traffic crash.
