The Kane County Regional Office of Education is inviting residents to take part in a 46-year tradition by nominating a teacher for 2022 Kane County Educator of the Year.
According to a news release from the office, nominees should be exceptionally skillful and dedicated individuals from any Kane County school who are planning to continue an active role in education. Candidates should have the respect and admiration of students, parents and co-workers, while playing an active role in their communities and schools. Their most important quality should be their superior ability to inspire the love of learning in students of all background and capabilities.
The 46th annual Educator of the Year ceremony will be April 29 at the Q Center in St. Charles.
Applications should be submitted by March 18.
