Larsen Lights Show back on Sunday after early closure Christmas due to ‘disrespectful visitors’

Nightly light show continues through Thursday, Dec. 30

This is the final year for the Larsen Light Show at 42W891 Beith Road at Campton Hills. Brian Larsen will be moving his show next year to Goebbert's Farm in Pingree Grove

The Larsen Christmas Lights Show in Campton Hills will reopen tonight, after closing early on Christmas because of “disrespectful visitors,” according to a post on social media.

According to the Larsen Christmas Lights Show Facebook page, the show was shut down early Saturday for the first time in 15 years because of the “amount of disrespect.”

“Demands for front row, being told to [expletive] off because they didn’t get front row, ran over my foot two time DONE FOR TONIGHT,” the post stated.

However, the show will go on from 5 to 10 p.m. at 42W891 Beith Road in Campton Hills on Sunday.

Larsen couldn’t immediately be reached for comment Sunday.

Previously, owner Brian Larsen said the show would run through Jan. 2, but according to the social media post, the last show will be on Thursday, Dec. 30.

Shows run from 5 to 9:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday this week.

This is the last year of the light show at its current location. Larsen is moving the show to Pingree Grove next year.
