St. Charles East junior Dom Munaretto grabbed his second IHSA state title in three seasons after winning the Class 3A 120-pound championship match and Marmion's Nicholas Garcia won his second straight state title after clinching the Class 3A 126 championship.

Brady Nightlinger, who qualified in two individual events and was on two winning relay teams, was instrumental in leading St. Charles North to the swimming sectional title on Saturday.

Marmion had four wrestlers fight their way to third place in the Class 3A while St. Francis' Jaylen Torres overcame a first-round loss to take bronze in the Class 1A 285-pound tournament. Plus, other results from the final day of the IHSA boys wrestling individual state meet.

Marmion's Nicholas Garcia and Zach Stewart, along with St. Charles East's Dom Munaretto, all advanced to their respective championship matches, while four others secured their spot in the medal matches during Day 2 of the IHSA boys wrestling individual state finals.

Sara Abdul led all players with 23 points, six steals and five assists, and Wheaton North continued its surge in the second half of the season with a 52-45 win over St. Charles North in Thursday's regional final.

Eighteen Kane County-area wrestlers advanced to the semifinals of the IHSA individual state tournament, while 12 more fell to the consolation bracket at the State Farm Center in Champaign, Ill. on Thursday.
