Waubonsee Community College administrator to lead Montgomery Economic Development Corporation

The Montgomery Economic Development Corporation announced that Suzette Murray, Assistant Vice President of Education & Workforce Development at Waubonsee Community College, will replace Doug Marecek as MEDC Chairman of the Board.

Murray has been on the MEDC Board for almost four years. She has been involved in a variety of positions that support economic development, workforce training and being a resource for the entire region through Waubonsee Community College.

The Montgomery Economic Development Corporation thanks Marecek, who is a Montgomery Village trustee, for his leadership over the last three years, taking over the chairman of the board position when Dr. Neil Schlupp retired nearly three years ago.
