Oswego firefighters rescue person from the Fox River in Montgomery

Oswego Fire Protection District firefighters rescued a person from the Fox River at 6:49 p.m. Friday, June 17 near the Route 30 bridge in Montgomery.

In a statement the fire district reported the person was treated and transported to Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora.

To rescue the person, the fire district said they deployed their water rescue team and rapid deployment boat.

No firefighters were injured while conducting the rescue operation.
