The visiting Foxes got out to a 22-4 lead at the end of the first quarter and went on to the victory.

Madi Spychalski had 15 points, 12 rebounds and three assists, Brooke Spychalski had 12 points, six rebounds and two assists and Lainey Gussman had 11 points, eight rebounds and five assists for the Foxes (4-3, 2-1 Southwest Prairie).

Bolingbrook 61, Oswego East 57

The Wolves led by four points at halftime and seven points midway through the third quarter but could not hold on.

Maggie Lewandowski scored 24 points, Aubrey Lamberti 18 and Desiree Merritt 10 for Oswego East (2-5, 1-2 Southwest Prairie).

Boys Basketball

Newark 59, Earlville 52

Dylan Long had 31 points, six rebounds and four steals to pace the Norsemen. Payton Wills added nine points and five rebounds, Cody Kulbartz nine points and three rebounds and Reggie Chapman five points, six rebounds and six assists.

Bolingbrook 67, Oswego East 46

Davion Thompson scored 22 points and JT Pettigrew had 16 points, 10 rebounds and four blocks for Bolingbrook.

Yorkville 2,752, Oswego 2,693

Yorkville’s Emma Taft bowled the high series of 647 and high game of 224 at Parkside Lanes. Sunnie Bowker led Oswego with a 614 series. Rhiannon Reynolds rolled a 571.

Johnsburg 1,915, Plano 1,622

Ella Stotler had Plano’s high series of 475 and high game of 185.

Plano JV wrestled Wilmington JV. Winning for the Reapers were Jeremy Chavez and Quinn Lyle. Plano JV wrestled Seneca winners were Liam Soyk, Devin Fraizer, Jeremy Chavez and Jacob Benitez. The Reaper Girls Team wrestled Seneca girls in an exhibition match . Winners for Plano were for Peightyn Soloff, Bella Prchal won two matches.
