Yorkville Church to host Martin Luther King Jr. Day essay contest

Yorkville Congregational United Church of Christ is holding an essay contest about Martin Luther King Jr. Day in January.

One middle school student and one high school student can each win $50 for their essays on the topic of what Martin Luther King Jr. Day means to them.

The essay contest will be open to all area middle school and high school students.

Essays should be no more than 700 words and must be emailed to adminasst@yorkvilleucc.org by Monday, Jan. 13.
