Aubrey Lamberti scored an Oswego East single-game record 37 points for the Wolves at the Carl Sandburg Christmas Tournament. Desiree Merritt added 16 and Nicole Warbinski eight.

Oswego East on Thursday beat Downers Grove South 64-48 as Merritt scored 21 and Maggie Lewandowski 15. Providence beat Oswego East 66-58. Merritt and Lewandowski each scored 16.

Sandwich 53, Morris 47

Dom Rome had 20 points and 14 rebounds and Braden Behringer had 14 points, five assists, five rebounds and three steals as the Indians advanced to the consolation championship of the Plano Christmas Classic. Quinn Rome added 10 points, eight rebounds and two blocks for Sandwich (5-8).

Newark 66, Gardner South Wilmington 28

At the Plano Christmas Classic, Dylan Long had 30 points and 10 rebounds for the Norsemen (7-6). Reggie Chapman added 15 points and seven assists and Payton Wills 11 points.

Mendota 67, Plano 52

Taron McGowan scored 13 to lead the Reapers at the Plano Christmas Classic.

Mason Lockett scored 21 points for the Wolves in a consolation bracket game of the Hinsdale Central Holiday Classic.

Dasean Patton scored 15 points and Ethan Vahl added 14 for the Panthers at the State Farm Holiday Classic.

Yorkville 60, Timothy Christian 41

Gabe Sanders scored 13 points and Taelor Clements added 11 for the Foxes at the Jack Tosh Holiday Classic.
