Yorkville senior Brooke Spychalski became the seventh player in program history to score her 1,000th career point, as she had 20 points, five rebounds, three assists and three steals to lead the host Foxes to the win in the Grow the Game Showcase.

Lainey Gussman added 10 points and seven rebounds, Madi Spychalski eight points and 11 rebounds and Macie Jones and Sydney McCabe chipped in seven points for the Foxes (9-6).

Plano 58, Somonauk 34

Josie Larson scored 19 points, Jailyn Brown added 10 and Chloe Rowe 11 rebounds for Plano (14-3).

Boys Basketball

Oswego East 60, Lincoln-Way East 54 (2OT)

Reggie McWaine scored 13 of his 20 points in the fourth quarter and overtime to lead the Wolves (10-5) to a nonconference road win. Mason Lockett added 18 for Oswego East.

Yorkville Christian 88, Cornerstone Christian 46

In Bloomington, Jayden Riley scored 19 points to lead four Yorkville Christian players in double figures. Jordan Purvis added 16 points, Zach Marini 13 and Brady Sovern 12 for the Mustangs (12-4).

Plano 65, Somonauk 47

Gabe Steele scored 20 points, Amari Bryant 13 and Kevin Martinez had a double-double of 13 points and 10 rebounds for Plano (8-7).
